Advanced Trust-Based Estate Planning

Some estate planning goals or needs cannot be achieved through a simple trust. In those situations, we will discuss options at your consultation. For advanced plans, my billable rate is $275 an hour. While its difficult to predict how long these advanced plans will take to complete, individuals can expect total costs in the range of ~$1,500 - $2,500 and couples ~$3,000 - $4,500.

How Package Billing Works

Initial Estate Planning Meeting
Execution and Payment

At your initial estate planning meeting, we will discuss your goals, situations, and available options. If you agree to move forward, you will sign an engagement letter and I will begin working on your estate planning documents.

At the final meeting, we will briefly review your documents once more before you sign the final versions. A notary will be present to notarize your estate planning documents, and your final documents will have a secure binding and protective cover. Payment or scheduling of a payment plan is due at this time.

Drafting and Review

It typically takes 1-2 weeks to draft the necessary documents. The drafted documents will be sent to you for review, and an invoice will be included in that transmittal.

As you review, you can ask me questions, and I will be available to revise the drafts as necessary to meet your goals. Once you approve the drafts, we will schedule an in-person meeting to sign and finalize your documents.
